Ted Metellus
NYRR Chief Events Production Officer and Race Director of the NYC Marathon. Ted is from the Bronx and both knows and has been a part of the fabric of NYC run culture and community development. Ted changes the lives of hundreds of thousands each year and puts a smile on the face of anyone he comes across. "Can't teach care" a motto of Ted's he embodies every day in his work that is infectiously inspiring to those around him.
Randi Zuckerberg
Randi Zuckerberg is a tech investor, board member, and endurance athlete, best known as an early Facebook employee and the creator of Facebook Live. She hosts Randi Zuckerberg Means Business on SiriusXM, serves on multiple boards--including NYRR-- and is a vocal advocate for leadership and mental resilience. A lifelong runner, she has completed 16 marathons and 11 ultramarathons, including the 250-mile Cocodona 250.
Davon Russell
​The President of Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation (WHEDco). Davon has served the community for nearly 30 years. Today WHEDco houses 1,500 people, support and engage over 3,000 youth through their programs and reach 10's of thousands each year through their programs. WHEDco has been a major partner of the BBRC. Davon is a sprinter, growing up in Jamaica, and raced at an elite level on the legendary Oregon team.
Timm Chiusano
Corporate Mr. Rogers, runner, and of course double emergency NHL backup goalie! Timm's has built a massively successful marketing team of several hundred at Charter (Now Spectrum) before shifting focus to support people, teams, and companies to become the best version of themselves as a solo venture. He is a TEDx speaker, an avid runner, and was one of the faces of the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon New Balance campaign.
Mary Darling
Mary is a creative leader, strategist, and community builder with a deep commitment to using culture, education, and sport to drive positive social impact. Professionally, Mary has built a career at the intersection of education, creativity, and experience, helping organizations shape authentic narratives that connect people to purpose. Mary is a talented and passionate runner and advocate for accessible sport. She believes deeply in running as a vehicle for confidence, connection, and opportunity. She actively practices as psychotherapist and also serves on the board of the Armory Foundation.
Cat Verri
Cat is a Partner and Global Head of Credit at Carlyle Group. She is a force to be reckoned with in the office and on the roads. Cat has been a behind the scenes leader of the BBRC since we first became a 501c3, leading our scholarships program and making inroads for us on the development side. She built out BBRC business operations and development plans, lifting BBRC from the ground up.
Rob Dalto
Rob Dalto is a senior technology executive, longtime runner, and community builder whose work bridges global running culture with grassroots impact in New York City.
Rob currently serves as Senior Vice President of Go-to-Market at EquiLend, a leading securities finance technology company. With more than 15 years of experience in enterprise technology.
Rob is co-founder and President of the Bronx Burners. He also serves as a global running ambassador for Abbott across their World Marathon Majors races.
