Rebuilding the Joseph Yancey Track is something incredibly close to our hearts.
As one of NYC’s most historic running spaces, it deserves to be restored and invested in for the next generation.
$48M in public funding has already been committed thanks to the amazing work of city officials. The total project cost is $52M. We'll be hosting a public show of support on June 3rd to amplify the voices of the community and help secure the remaining budget.
A rebuilt track unlocks:
✅60,000 annual community uses
✅20,000 structured youth-hours per year
✅$100M in economic impact from future youth earnings, property value creation, event income and labor
✅Safe, structured after-school activity for kids in one of NY's most underserved communities

This is bigger than a track. It’s about access, health, opportunity, and creating the kind of public spaces our community deserves.
