NEW BALANCE SUMMER GROWTH SERIES

The New Balance Summer Growth Series is a Bronx Burners initiative designed to support youth and families during the summer — a critical transitional period when structure, connection, and access to opportunity can be harder to maintain. The series brings together two of our core programs: one focused on supporting younger youth and their families, and another designed to support high school–aged youth through immersive training and leadership development.

By meeting young people at different stages of growth, the Summer Growth Series delivers age-appropriate programming that builds confidence, independence, and stability. Through structured training experiences, family-centered support, and community partnerships, the series ensures summer becomes a season of growth, connection, and preparation for what’s next.

Two Programs, One Series.

Fuel the Future

Fuel the Future is an immersive, multi-day training experience designed for high school–aged youth. The program provides structured coaching focused on movement mechanics, fitness, leadership, and teamwork while creating space for independence, challenge, and meaningful peer connection away from home.

Scholarship opportunities are available to ensure access is not limited by financial barriers. By combining high-quality training with intentional support, Fuel the Future emphasizes discipline, resilience, and confidence — positioning the summer as a formative step toward long-term personal, academic, and athletic growth.

Families for the Future

Families for the Future supports younger youth and their families through community-centered programming that strengthens the foundation around each athlete. Grounded in the belief that when families thrive, communities thrive, the program extends access to resources that promote wellness, nutrition, and financial stability.

Through workshops, partnerships, and family-focused experiences, Families for the Future fosters connection, shared learning, and long-term support — ensuring opportunity reaches the entire household, not just the athlete.
